Farm Bureau Insurance Identity Theft Protection
It’s no wonder that your identity is one of your most valuable assets. In 2007, there were more than eight million reported victims of identity theft, which equates to a little more than four percent of the adult population in the United States. Those cases added up to nearly $50 billion in total cost.
That’s why Farm Bureau Insurance offers a program for its members designed to help you in the event your identity is compromised, or stolen. We bring this service to you at no additional cost.
Protecting yourself by knowing where your identity is exposed and how to defend it against identity thieves is a key first step. In many cases, it requires a small effort on your part to change key habits and practices to help keep you from becoming a victim.
If you become a victim, you will be put in touch with the Identity Theft Resolution Center, where you will be assigned a personal advocate. Your advocate will work with you one-on-one throughout the identity theft resolution process.
